The Centre of Wellbeing strives to provide the best possible allied health services. This is achieved by ensuring that we only use the best qualified therapists that we can in their relevant fields. In this FAQ we will attempt to provide some of the answers to the questions that you may have and assist you in making an informed decision about why you should use us instead of someone else.
Here at The Centre of Wellbeing we do several types of massage.
All massages are tailored to the client because no two people are the same and every person has their own specific treatment needs and requirements.
Rob has been in the industry since 2000. He and Ros started The Centre of Wellbeing in 1998 from home. All of our therapists are registered with a peak body of their profession. This includes the Chiropractic Association of Australia and The Massage and Myotherapy Australia association. Every therapist is registered with all of the major health funds so you can get your rebates.
Yes and no. No you do not have to get undressed to enjoy a treatment. We can work through your clothes. However the best results are achieved when we make direct contact with you. You only need undress to your level of comfort. We keep you draped under towels and only uncover the area that we need access to as we are "working on you".
All our therapists are registered with the major health funds, and you can claim directly from your health funds via our HICAPS terminal. The amount that you are rebated will vary from health fund to health fund, may depend on the level of cover that you have taken out and may also depend on what is left in your fund. If you are not sure contact your health fund directly.
If we feel that we cannot assist you in getting improvements or relief from your condition we have a network of other therapists that we can refer you to. Some referrals may be in house and others may be to a therapist that we know and trust to do the best that they can to assist you. We are always looking for you to get some improvement. However occasionally things can seem to get worse before they get better. We welcome your feedback in all matters to ensure that you are getting the best treatment that we can provide.
Afterhours appointments are available for many of our services. Usually you will need to book ahead for a later appointment or one on Saturday because they are very popular. We only ask that if you cannot make it to an appointment is that you try to give us plenty of notice so that we can assign your appointment to another person. (Please refer to the posted cancellation policy).

All our therapists are fully qualified in their field of expertise. Our massage therapists are qualified to a minimum of Diploma level, a Chiropractor is a Doctor and all other staff members are equally well qualified in their fields. You should always ensure that the therapist who is treating you is properly qualified, passionate about what they are doing, and have your best interests at heart.
All therapists belong to an appropriate governing body for example The Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) and or Chiropractic Association of Australia (CAA) and others as per their professional requirements. All therapists are required to carry professional and product indemnity insurance.

Provider numbers are available for most major Australian Health funds and WorkCover. Many claims can be settled on the spot through our HICAPs terminal. Please ask to see if your fund is covered through Massage and Myotherapy Australia. (MMA) (Previously known as The Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT)).

Yes we do. During payment we simply swipe your Health Fund card through our HICAPS terminal whereby your claim details are automatically entered. From there it is just a matter of you paying the GAP amount. - ( * Pending Authorisation ).
